The Significance of Pi: Pi in Nature and Everywhere Else

I’ve been guided to do some more research on the phenomenon of Pi. I believe that contained with this infinite sequence of numbers are the answers to almost everything. I believe it contains all information and knowledge, as least, in a physical sense. It appears as a fundamental part of my synchronicity reports. I haven’t really looked deeper into the magic of this number until today and I would like to share some interesting things that I’ve found.

(BiophysicsSantiago Schnell is Professor of Molecular & Integrative Physiology and Computational Medicine & Bioinformatics at the University of Michigan Medical School.

“…How does Pi, the number with no pattern, play a role in the formation of pattern? Close your eyes, and imagine the stripes of a zebra. Those stripes have a size and spacing that is encoded by a constant: Pi! The same goes for the spots of a leopard. In fact, it seems that Pi encodes the size and spacing of many patterns, not confined to the field of biology.

Computer simulations of Turing’s model produces a bewildering array of patterns, including spots and stripes. Pi is also intimately woven into periodic processes. It appears in the governing biophysical laws of cell division timing, heart beats, breathing cycle, and circadian rhythms controlling sleep-wake cycles…

The study of this infinite number has been going on for millenia:

(Chicagoif)

“…Pi has been studied by the human race for almost 4,000 years. The Bible alludes to pi in 1 Kings 7:23 where it describes the altar inside Solomon’s temple: “And he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim … and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.”

These measurements produce the following estimate: 333/106 = 3.141509.   By 2000 B.C., Babylonians established the constant circle ratio as 3-1/8 or 3.125. The ancient Egyptians arrived at a slightly different value of 3-1/7 or 3.143…”

I have confirmed this next fact myself, the first 144 digits of Pi equal to 666. The gematria calculator I use automatically adds numbers together so I just plugged in the first 144 digits of Pi and it came up with 666:

And Pi is also found in the lengths of rivers:

(Chicagoif)

From Fermat’s Enigma, by Simon Singh

“…Professor Hans-Henrik Stolum, an earth scientist at Cambridge University has calculated the ratio between the actual length of rivers from source to mouth and their direct length as the crow flies. Although the ratio varies from river to river, the average value is slightly greater than 3, that is to say that the actual length is roughly three times greater than the direct distance.

In fact the ratio is approximately 3.14, which is close to the value of the number pi… The ratio of pi is most commonly found for rivers flowing across very gently sloping planes, such as those found in Brazil or the Siberian tundra…”

As astrophysicist has even posited that a crop circle which manifested in 2008 was encoded with the first 10 digits of Pi:

Crop circle

(Daily Mail)

“…Carved out in a barley field, this 150ft wide pattern is said to be a pictorial representation of the first ten digits of Pi, one of the most fundamental symbols in mathematics.

Believers in extra-terrestrials could argue it was made by mathematically-minded aliens on a field trip to Earth.

The pattern appeared earlier this month near Barbury Castle, an Iron Age hill fort above the village of Wroughton in Wiltshire.

Then retired astrophysicist Mike Reed saw a photograph of it and made the mathematical link.

Mr Reed said: ‘I noticed a photo of the Barbury Castle pattern. It shows a coded image representing the first ten digits of Pi  –  the ratio of the circumference of a circle to the diameter.

‘The tenth digit has even been correctly rounded up.

Although  it appears complicated at first glance, the puzzle does make perfect sense if approached logically and taken step by step.

The coded image depicts 3.141592654, the first ten digits of Pi. How is it done?

Firstly, the diagram is divided into ten equal sections (a bit like a dartboard, or a cake sliced ten ways) because there are ten staggered edges located at strategic points around the crop circle.

Banbury Castle Crop Circle

To help understand how this is arrived at, look again at the photo above and imagine a giant ruler being aligned with the edges (ignore the tractor lines, which were there before the circle was created).

That sets the basic framework. Next, each number in Pi is represented in the diagram by a corresponding number of coloured blocks.

Beginning in the centre with the arrow marked ‘Start’, the first number, three, is represented by three red blocks from clockwise.

Follow this round and this takes you to the decimal point, which is depicted by a small circle in the barley.

The number after the decimal point is one, represented by one green block.

The same pattern continues for each of the numbers – four purple blocks, one orange, five blue, nine yellow, two purple, six red, five green, then four dark blue, followed by three circles, or dots, acknowledging that Pi is infinite…”

Pi appeared as part of an important part of a society’s advancement in the show Stargate SG-1 which I have previously written about. The SG-1 team venture into a cave where they are supposed to decipher some puzzles on the walls and they figure out that the answer is Pi. This challenge was set forth by a very advanced extraterrestrial being named Thor who was a member of the Asgard race:

So it seems no matter where you go in this Universe, there will always be constants, which includes Pi, which appears to be an important enough number to be encoded into a crop circle.

(The Conversation)

“…The number π is a universal constant that is ubiquitous across mathematics. In fact, it is an understatement to call it “universal,” because π lives not only in this universe but in any conceivable universe. It existed even prior to the Big Bang. It is permanent and unchanging…”

This is everything for now, much love all!
